Graduate Studies

The Graduate SchoolNewark, established in December 1975, offers students a variety of Arts and Sciences degrees, from the M.F.A. to the Ph.D. Many of its courses are designed and taught by members of the Faculty of Arts and SciencesNewark. Students interested in an interdisciplinary focus can choose the Liberal Studies M.A., which offers students the opportunity to create their own curriculum, and the Women’s Studies concentration, which permits students from different disciplines to focus on gender-related issues and theories.
